How do I order a server?
To order a server from us there are many ways you can do so. You can simply go to our Home page, and select a package of you interest, and or look over our current specials. If you do not see what you are looking for on our home page, Check out our Services page! On the services page there is a more direct listing of what we have to offer.
How long does it take for server setup?
Normally server installs take up to 20 minutes after payment has been received. -- Based upon staff availability. If no staff is available, it can take up to 12 hours. Here at SickServers we do everything by hand, Nothing is automated, and that is why we do not do automated installs, All for quality assurance. If a server install longer than our suggested time, please contact support ASAP!
Will you match a competitor's price?
Here at SickServers we strive to offer the best price to performance out there. If you find another competitor with different pricing, cheaper than us. It is simply because their servers are not the same quality as ours. If you do not believe this, Simply ask one of our staff members for a test server and feel the gaming difference yourself!
What if I wish to upgrade at a later date?
The answer to this is YES! If you order a lower grade server from us, that could be because money was an issue, and or you wanted to try a different package we will be more than happy to assist you in upgrading your server. You can have your server upgraded by asking a support member in our IRC channel, and or emailing support stating you wish to upgrade.
How do I know I am getting what I pay for?
Again at SickServers we strive to offer the best price to performance on all our game servers. If you feel you did not get what you payed for, You have up to 48 hours to make that decision. If you feel the server was not worth it within that time frame, we will issue you a refund, hassle free!
How do I cancel my service?
IF you wish to cancel your game server with us you can do this by logging into your paypal account and cancel the paypal subscription. All server orders are tied into paypal, and we use subscriptions as a payment method. Simply because we do not like tracking customers down for a server payment. For some reason you have trouble canceling your Paypal subscription, you can as any of our support members to assist you in doing so. Or you can ask us to cancel it for you.
What sort of discounts for serveral month purchases?
The answer to this is yes. We offer very nice discounts if you purchase quarterly or even semi-annually. We urge customers to purchase quarterly simply because of the great deal you get. Feel free to contact support via IRC or email regarding offers.
Refund policy, How does that work?
Our refund policy at SickServers is quite Simple. If you are not satisfied with your game server within the 48 hours of purchase you may ask for a refund in full. If you did not cancel your paypal subscription, and you get billed another month from us. We will give you a 75 Percent refund if you request it within 48 hours of the charge.

How do I use FTP. Such as uploading files?
Using FTP is quite simple. We recomend using an FTP client called: FileZilla. You can grab it from our downloads section if you do not already have it installed. As for connecting and uploading items to your game server. You will just need the FTP information provided in the email you received from us. In the address field put in the IP address, In the username field enter the username, In the password feild enter your password. Easy enough right? When you are connected you should see your game server mod. From there navigate to what directory you need to be in, and upload your needed files. This can include new maps, or new config files. You can simply drag and drop them in. If for some reason you have trouble uploading files to your game server, Please contact us! We will be glad to assist you, and or do it for you.
What If my game server crashes?
Typically speaking, If your game server does indeed crash. It should come back online within just a few moments. If it does not come back online within a minute of downtime. Please contact us ASAP! The most common reasons why your game server will crash; and this happens on a regular basis, are: 1) Missing models for a certian map 2) Missing that map 3) Deleted needed files from the game server.
Server is not performing the same, What do i Do!
The most common reason why our game servers will not perform as they did when you first purchased them is it could be as simple as a config problem. If the line "exec boost.cfg" is not in your config files it can cause performance loss. If this is not the case, then there could be something more extreme, But easily fixed. Please contact a support member ASAP for the problem to be resolved in a timely matter.
How do I restart my game server?
As of now the only way to restart your game server is use the command "rcon quit" This will instantly give your game server a restart. We do not offer another method at this time because we are currently working on a control panel. If you wish your game server to be restarted by hand, please contact support and we will take care of you!""
Can I request for my game server to be moved?
Ofcourse, you can! However, We limit customers to ONE move per month, Unless it is back to their original location. The reason being for this is simply because customers have abused the move system before. Contact us if you have any questions
My server is not responding, What do I do!
If for some reason your game server is not responding please contact us. We opt for 99.9% uptime, However this can change with a a harwdare failure, or network outage. Those issures are on the more extreme side, and not typical. The most common reason for downtime, is a late night server reboot, and or you forgot to pay for your server!
I have an HLTV server, How do I use it?
There are many ways to control your HLTV server. We highly recommend using a program called HLSW. If you do not have this program installed, you can grab it from our downloads section. Once you have HLSW Open and running. Take the HLTV information you received from your email, and enter the IP address into the address bar. From there navigate to the server control, bottom portion of the program. Enter your rcon password of the game server, and click Test. Once you have completed this, Click the console tab slgihtly under everything. From here you can either record a demo, or stop recording a current demo. To record a demo simply type the following command: record demoname.dem Example: record tonightsmatch.dem After you hit enter, the server will ouput stating "Recording Initialized" As on how to stop recording a demo this is even simpler. From the console type the following command: Stoprecording Yes, It is all one word. If you have trouble recording a demo, please contact us and we will be glad to assist you.
